Residents at Nynehead Court in Somerset, can look forward to even more activities in the future, as a new Co-Ordinator has joined the home.
Helen Hill brings a wealth of experience to the role, as she was previously an Activities Co-Ordinator at another care home in the area. She will be supporting Annette Cosgrove in planning activities for the residents and events at Nynehead Court such as fetes and concerts.
Home Manager Angela Watkins said, “We are delighted to welcome Helen to our activities team. She has wonderful experience and we are looking forward to sharing ideas with her to further enhance the quality of life for our residents.”
Nynehead Court offers gracious retirement living for older people requiring residential care or close care housing. Set in 13 acres of parkland, it is registered to provide residential care for 44 people within the Court and close care housing for 11 retirees/couples within the Mews. Within the Court, the newly extended Mulberry Wing caters for those with memory impairment, or in need of greater stimulation, with a higher ratio of staff to residents. At the other end of the spectrum, the 11 close care mews houses provide the opportunity to extend home ownership and live independently, safe in the knowledge that every level of care, support and security is available, when and if required.
