Hoar Cross nursing and care home hosted its very own garden party to celebrate their extended family, their residents, and the arrival of summer.
Attended by families, carers, and the guests of honour, the residents themselves, they were treated to a carnival of activities, live entertainment, and home cooked food.
With lots of dancing, singing, and plenty of foot tapping, music through the ages was played whilst the BBQ sizzled into full grilling action, and to finish strawberries and cream with scones.
Kathy Cleaver, registered manager RGN at Hoar Cross nursing home said: “The garden party was a real celebration and a chance for everyone to come together to enjoy the outdoors, and have a fun time.
“We’re very pleased to announce we raised over four hundred pounds for the residents’ social pot. With this healthy sum we will be able to offer our residents additional opportunities to take part in new and exciting social activities.”
Hoar Cross Nursing Home occupies a magnificent spot in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. It offers first class nursing care for long and short-term residents, as well as respite. The home is registered to provide care for residents with physical disabilities, dementia or at end of life.
