A care home based in Kingswood, Bristol, is marking a very special anniversary this year as the home celebrates its tenth anniversary.
Avon Lodge care centre, which provides high quality nursing and dementia care for up to 60 people, opened its doors in 2008 and a party was held on Friday 6 July from 1pm to thank the home’s care team for its continued dedication and passion for delivering high quality care to residents, and to bring together residents, their families and the wider community..
Residents and care team celebrated the milestone with a special party. Invites were sent to relatives, neighbours and anyone with connections to the home to join in. The amazing summer was a great backdrop for the celebrations which were held outside in the garden.
Home Manager, Pam Arnsmeyer, said: “We are delighted to extend an open invitation to friends and the local community to join us in marking the home’s tenth anniversary. We take great pride in being at the heart of Kingswood’s community and feel very proud that Avon Lodge has been a welcome home to many people over the last decade. We’re extremely proud of the service we deliver and we look forward to welcoming people into our home to help us mark this special anniversary.”
