Nest Homecare has further strengthened its commitment to supporting clients with memory concerns by hiring a Memory Support Specialist – Paula King Paula joins Nest after working at the RBWM for over 2 years as a Dementia Care Advisor. Previous to that, Paula held the position of Assessment Officer for 4 years at the RBWM. Paula’s main focus will be on helping sign-post clients and their families on all aspects of dementia. She will also focus on staff training and development.

Paula has a wealth of experience within the community helping and supporting people with memory concerns. We believe that this is a first for a homecare provider and a ground-breaking move that reinforces Nest’s commitment to ensuring that clients and their families receive the very best care and service.” Paula will also be responsible for launching and running the Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead’s DAA (Dementia Action Alliance) which is an Alzheimer’s Society initiative in which local businesses get involved in making the area more dementia friendly.
