Dr Rosena Allin- Khan, Labour MP for Tooting, met with residents at Nightingale House, the leading residential care home as part of her election campaign trail.

During her trip, she reaffirmed her commitment to care of the elderly.

Helen Simmons, Chief Executive, Nightingale Hammerson, said: “We were extremely pleased to welcome Dr Allin-Khan to Nightingale House. Her commitment, to both Nightingale Hammerson and the industry as a whole, were extremely reassuring. The residents really enjoyed the experience and we look forward to welcoming her back.”

Following the visit, Dr Rosena Allin- Khan, Labour MP for Tooting, tweeted in reference to a previous tour of the home: “Spent time at Nightingale House this afternoon, met Harry again (now 97) who still has the charm! He’s made my day”.

Dr. Rosena was accompanied on the visit by Jeremy Newmark, chair of the Labour Jewish Movement, who afterwards tweeted that he was “delighted to have made it to S London to join @DrRosena on the campaign trail at @NGHHammerson earlier today”.
