Generous members of staff at Nurse Plus’ Coventry branch have hopped in to RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning to donate a big bag of Easter Eggs to the charity.
The team banded together to collect over 40 eggs for the Coventry based charity, which offers tailored education, care and therapies to children and young people with multiple disabilities, complex health needs and vision impairment.
Head Teacher Angela Farrell invited Branch Manager Victoria Wieczerzynska and Recruitment Specialist Katie McCabe to their Easter Disco, where staff and students hit the dance floor for a spring celebration.
Children also had the opportunity to showcase their Easter Bonnets to staff at Nurse Plus, which had been beautifully crafted in honour of the day.
Victoria, said: “We were delighted to be able to hand deliver the Easter Eggs to children at RNIB Pear Centre ourselves and see the engaging activities that they enjoy at the centre throughout the year.
“The staff work tirelessly to ensure that children are getting care, and an education, that is tailored to each individual’s need and we were blown away by the children’s enthusiasm and commitment to learning.”
Head Teacher, Angela also commented: “We are extremely thankful to all the staff at Nurse Plus who donated eggs to our young people. They have made Easter really special and have recognised the hard work that our children put in each and every day in order to reach their full potential.”
