Rthe-residents-at-notcuttsesidents of Rogers House Residential Home in Wigmore, spent an afternoon at Notcutts Garden Centre in Maidstone, browsing the plants and enjoying a cup of tea.

Accompanied by the home’s activity coordinator, the group of residents made the short trip to Notcutts, to do a spot of seasonal shopping and get into the spirit of the upcoming holidays.

The residents enjoyed browsing the variety of beautiful plants, and purchasing some for their garden, whilst taking in the seasonal displays and getting into the spirit of Halloween and Christmas.

After a stroll around the centre, the residents were ready for a well deserved rest, so they made their way to the centre’s tea room, to relax over a cup of tea and slice of cake.

Roxy Shah, activity coordinator at Rogers House, commented: “The residents had a great afternoon at the garden centre, we bought a few plants for the home and some of them did a spot of early Christmas shopping!

“It’s great that the residents can enjoy choosing things for their home and getting involved with the gardening and how everything looks, this is their home after all.”
