David and Caroline Balmer, joint owners and directors of Worcester home care company, Caremark (Worcester & Malvern Hills) took part in the popular 10Km Worcester City run earlier in the month, raising funds for a local charity, Worcester Carers.

The local charity share the same building as Caremark and the Balmers were keen to support the organization.

Worcester Carers provide support to thousands of unpaid carers in Worcestershire and provide valuable training courses to those needing extra help.

More information about the work of the charity can be found here: http://www.carersworcs.org.uk/

The energetic pair of entrepreneurs underwent weeks of preparation and fitness training, using their local canal as their training path, in readiness for the testing 10km Worcester City run.

Their successful completion of the race raises valuable funds for the charity.
