Caremark (Pulborough) the Sussex based home care provider, held a special fundraising event earlier in July in memory of Scott Mackinnon, a popular and well-liked colleague who passed away earlier in the year.

A great family day out, the charity fundraiser brought together all generations with activities to suit all ages with the Disco Dome Bouncy Castle being a firm favourite.
Companies from Sussex and beyond generously donated prizes for the raffle, raising much needed funds for Mind, the mental health charity. Kevin Lewis, CEO of Caremark Limited presented the lucky winners with some superb prizes.
Prizes ranged from a 2 course meal at a local restaurant, two beauty treatments from a Sussex beauty salon, a Paintballing day, a 2 night stay in a Bed & Breakfast establishment and a hamper full of beauty products from the local Tesco store in Pulborough, to name a few.
Mind campaigns to raise greater awareness of mental health issues which are not always known about or understood. Available to provide advice and support as well as empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, they also campaign for the provision of better care and services for all.
Commenting on the event, Mary Dearie, Care Manager for Caremark (Pulborough) said: “We had a fantastic day and I would like to say a massive thank you to Nadine Foster, our UK & Overseas Recruitment Officer, for organizing the day.
“We had an amazing turn out from both colleagues and clients which resulted in £800 being raised for a worthy charity and the event was a really fitting way to remember Scott too. As this has been such a success, we plan to do this every year and continue raising awareness for Mind.”
