Rugby School invited residents of the Rugby Care Centre to their summer tea party which they host annually. Some of the residents attended and they had a great time. The famous school certainly made them feel welcome and as they settled into the event, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.
There was an assortment of teas and coffees as well as a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes.
It wasn’t short of entertainment either, as we played a game of bingo and had a quiz. One of their resident, Elsie, was among those who attended and when asked how if she enjoyed the event, she said: “I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. They were very hospitable and welcoming.”
Rugby Care Centre would like to thank Rugby School for their hospitality and are looking forward to having some of their student’s with them, who volunteer on a weekly basis.
