Residents at Aaron House in Penicuik, Midlothian enjoyed an exciting afternoon of French themed entertainment and activities when a group of 11 year old students from France came to visit.
The group of students from College Saint Michel in Bourgoin-Jallieu, near Lyon had travelled to Edinburgh on a school trip, when they paid a visit to residents and staff at Aaron House. The students brought with them French songs and games which entertained everyone in the home. The residents were particularly delighted when the students performed a special dance to mark the occasion.
Residents and their guests with a sweet-tooth were in for treat, as they indulged in French cakes and biscuits during the entertainment.
Akbar Mir, Home Manager at Aaron House commented:
“The visit was a great success! Residents really enjoyed meeting the students and listening to the French music.
“We always like to share new and exciting experiences with the residents and look forward to welcoming the students back when they visit Edinburgh again next year!”
