RMBI care home Cornwallis Court, in Suffolk, has received an award for its excellent services for people living with dementia. The Home’s dementia support house, Geoffrey Dicker House, received the highest rating, Level 1, for its dementia care services following a recent visit from the Dementia Care Matters team.
Â
The ‘Butterfly Service’ status is a nationally recognised kitemark awarded by Dementia Care Matters to identify care homes that are committed to achieving the highest standards of dementia care. Only a small selection of care homes in the country have received the prestigious award and Cornwallis Court joins several RMBI care homes that have now achieved this status.
Â
Home Manager, Helen Forsyth, said: “We are delighted to receive the kitemark award for our high standards of dementia care at Cornwallis Court. Our team is dedicated to providing our residents with a high quality of life and it is an honour to be recognised for our commitment to care.“
