Residents of Connors House in Canterbury made the most of the summer sunshine and headed out to enjoy a day at the Great British Seaside.
On a gloriously warm and sunny July afternoon, residents Barbara, Kath and Madge made their way to Ramsgate, accompanied by home manager, Christine, for a day of fun in the sun.
The residents took a pleasant stroll along the seafront, taking in the fresh sea air before stopping at a café for a well-deserved rest and of course, a traditional 99.
All of the residents had been very excited about the day trip; particularly Barbara who said it had been several years since she had spent some time at Ramsgate.
Christine Devlin, home manager of Connors House said: “The residents had a great day at Ramsgate, they found it very nostalgic as some of their summers were spent there during their younger days.
“They were thoroughly radiant upon arriving back home and couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the day, we are hoping to be able to do another trip like this again soon.”
