Work is underway to create a new specialist elderly and dementia care home in Chesterfield it was announced today, supported with a seven figure loan from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
The Green Nursing Homes Limited has started construction works to develop the new 39 en-suite bedroom facility on land adjacent to their ‘The Green Care Home’ in Dronfield.
RBS has supported the company with a seven figure loan which will fund the cost of the build. It is anticipated that the new care home will be open by the beginning of September 2015.
Established in the early 1990’s, The Green Nursing Homes limited is a family run business that owns and operates two care homes in Derbyshire – The Green Care Home in Dronfield and The Green Care Home in Hasland. Both homes have been awarded ‘Quality Premium” status by Derbyshire County Council.
