Bessingby Hall care home celebrates with a visit from Sir Gregory Knight MP


Bridlington care home, Bessingby Hall in the village of Bessingby hosted an Open Day to celebrate their recent Care Quality Commission inspection; having achieved ‘Good’.
Guests of honour were Sir Gregory Knight MP and his Wife Lady Janet.

They were given a tour of the home by Richard Hoggart owner and Managing Director of Burlington Care.

Staff, residents and their loved ones and local healthcare professionals were treated to a day of music and good old Yorkshire fayre. The kitchen staff had spent a couple of days preparing cakes and buns and savouries, which were a hit.

Sir Greg presented a bouquet on behalf of Burlington Care, to registered home manager Jane Wade to thank her and her team at Bessingby Hall for their hard work and success.
