Specialist healthcare business agents comment on another successful year

With another successful year at an end and 2019 dawning, the closing stages of 2018 saw a flurry of activity for DC Care.

Many care businesses we are instructed to sell saw offers being accepted on them by our respective vendors or entered the formal legal due diligence process following a successful valuation.

Additionally, we have observed a significant surge of interest in all businesses and subsequent viewing requests. Despite the ongoing political turmoil, it demonstrates that the care sector is still buoyant and demand for quality care facilities remains high. All the signs point to potentially another record-breaking year in 2019 for us!

Alison Willoughby, our Northern Region Director commented “I feel our strength definitely lies in our specialism and combined knowledge. With a national presence and an experienced team, we are ideally placed to advise owners wishing to sell anything from a small specialist care home to a large group.”

In the runup to Christmas the DC Care team personally oversaw the final stages of many sales heading towards completion. Some of our most recent completions include Abbey Care Home in Romford and the confidential sale of a purpose-built care home in Yorkshire, registered for 60 clients.

Andy Sandel, our Southern Region Director commented “We have seen sales complete in all areas of the country and in a wide variety of care sectors. The outlook for 2019 remains extremely encouraging with a good proportion of our current instructions either under offer or attracting high levels of interest; this does however mean we are seeking more good quality homes for our buyers.”
