Castle View Windsor Celebrates Royal Wedding Art Finalists

Site hoarding becomes royal wedding gallery thanks to local children

Site hoarding at the new Castle View Retirement Village in Windsor has become a royal wedding gallery thanks to children from Clewer Green First School, Windsor.

The children aged between four and nine were asked to create their version of Harry and Meghan’s wedding to be judged by the Castle View team and the winners are now displayed on the hoarding around the site.

With over one hundred entries to choose from, 25 winning images were selected. The new urban retirement village will provide 64 homes for the over 55s, together with an additional 72 bed care home.

During a special presentation at the school, Mrs Daniel of department store Daniels, along with Robin Hughes, Managing Director, Castle Retirement Living and Lisa Fisher, Marketing Manager of Castle View awarded prizes to each of the 25 winners to spend in the store, while three overall winning entries included further prizes to Benjamin Leuty and Ethan Bird.

Comments Robin Hughes, Managing Director, Castle Retirement Living: “We thought an art competition with Clewer Green First School would be a great way for us to join the Royal Wedding celebrations and for the winners to see their artwork super-sized on our site hoarding.  Who knows, with press from around the world descending on Windsor a glimpse of their winning artwork may just appear on television!”
