The Midsummer celebration provided an ideal opportunity to show the importance of the care worker in the local community and enabled the Whitchurch based company to recognize and celebrate the enormous dedication of their care staff.
Managing Director, Janis Anderson said: “Care workers are the foundation of our business and it is vital that they know how appreciated and valued they are. The Midsummer event was the ideal occasion to recognize and reward the enormous dedication that care workers give to the role of caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.”
Twenty staff were awarded certificates and gifts for being with the company for over four years.
Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) launched in 2009 with just the Managing Director, Janis Anderson and her Care Manager. Within 12 months the fledgling care provider was supporting many clients, and going from strength to strength, with the number of hours of care delivered in the community increasing each month.
The Buckinghamshire care provider now provides care and support for over 240 clients, providing over 4,200 hours of care every week with experienced and dedicated care and support teams across the county.
“The day was a roaring success and the whole team are looking forward to the next seven years,” Janis concluded.
Home care and support is delivered to a broad range of clients across the county, enabling them to remain living safely and independently at home. A personalized care and support plan is drawn up by each client, ensuring individual needs and preferences are met and that individuals are enabled to have control and choice over their lives.
