Care England-care industry newsCare England believes that the new Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) 5 year Strategy sets an important and challenging agenda for Adult Social Care.

Professor Martin Green OBE, Chief Executive of Care England says:

In particular we want to see real progress around a sharing and aligning of data and monitoring activity, that avoids duplicate and multiple information requests of providers from across the health and social care system . We hope CQC can lead on this and use their independent inspection reports to help drive a shared view of quality. This has been on the agenda for years and it does need to be addressed once and for all.”

Martin Green continued:

We look forward to supporting CQC in its quest for value for money and for quicker reporting and better use of online services for providers that ensures money in the system is focussed on the provision of high quality frontline services for people.”
