How would you feel about providing elderly care to one of the most diverse and vibrant populations in London?
We have a wide mix of patients, and we have a reputation for providing them with an exceptional level of safe and compassionate care. We also have a reputation for putting their privacy and dignity at the heart of the care we provide. Diverse, modern and progressive, we pioneer new ways of working in an inner city environment.
The Elderly Care Unit is an acute and rehabilitation ward specialising in the care of older adults. We have many exciting initiatives in place for working with our dementia patients, including art groups, music in each room and a reminiscence room. We also employ specialist Dementia Care Assistants.
We are looking for passionate, kind and motivated individuals to join this established, friendly and hardworking team, and are hosting an open day on Friday 12th February to show off our unit. If you are able to communicate effectively, are enthusiastic about patient care and have the ability to work in a flexible and supportive manner, why not come along and find out more about what we do?
Our nurses are provided with significant support on the ward, including a ward-based Practice Development Nurse, Senior Staff Nurses and two senior sisters. We therefore offer great opportunities to come and develop your skills and knowledge in this area.
For further information please contact Nicola Wagstaff, Senior Nurse, on 0208 510 7042 or Laura Thompson/Alina Rapley, Senior Sisters, on 0208 510 7411
