Specialist elderly care home, Richmond Care Home, has been acquired by new owners in a deal supported by Royal Bank of Scotland.
The 40 bed all single en-suite facility has been taken over by the Ladhani brothers, owners of Richmond Court Care Home in Wolverhampton and Brookholme Care Home in Chesterfield. This is their third operation in the Midlands.

Located on Recreation Road in Shirebrook, Mansfield, Richmond Care Home caters for elderly residents requiring daily treatment and supervision as well as those needing simple social care

Staff have a breadth of experience in providing care, regularly nursing residents living with dementia, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, visual and hearing impairments as well as providing palliative care. The venue has a wide range of facilities for residents including various lounges and a peaceful enclosed garden.

Royal Bank of Scotland has supported the acquisition of the care home with a seven figure funding deal.

Hanif Ladhani, Managing Director of Rosecare Shirebrook Limited, said: “We are really pleased that our acquisition has been successful. Richmond Care Home is a very reputable care home in our region and a great addition to our group. This is now the third care home that we own and operate and we intend to continue to run it to a high standard.

“An instrumental factor in helping us to acquire the business has been the funding we have received from Royal Bank of Scotland.  We’d like to thank Spencer Ford and the healthcare team for their support.  Their understanding of the industry and acquisition process has also been invaluable and we are really pleased with the service we have received.”
Spencer Ford, Senior Relationship Manager, Healthcare at Royal Bank of Scotland said:  “I am pleased that we have been able to develop a funding deal which has supported Hanif and Didar to successfully acquire their third care home business.

“The duo are very experienced and well respected in the care industry with a proven track record of providing outstanding care to their residents. We wish them the very best with their takeover of Richmond Care Home.”

  1. You appear to have got the header wrong and they have actually taken over a home in Shirebrook not Wolverhampton which they already own. Headline should read – Shirebrook care home under new ownership.
