Dunstable Town Mayor, Councillor Liz Jones, today visited the site of Rosewood Court Care Home, a new, luxury care home on London Road in Dunstable, as LNT Construction celebrates a landmark stage in the build with a topping out ceremony.
Once completed in early March 2016, Rosewood Court will provide a home for 66 older people from the surrounding area. The brand new, purpose built home has been designed and built by LNT Construction and will be run by Only Care Ltd – a family owned business established in 2007 with a mission to create a home from home environment with first-class care for the residents who live with them.
Amit Dhamecha, Director of Only Care Ltd said; “We are really excited to see Rosewood Court taking shape and the topping out ceremony brings us one step closer to opening the home. We are really looking forward to showcasing the fantastic facilities we have to offer – it is a great home in a great location that will create around 50 jobs for local people and provide excellent care for the elderly residents of Dunstable and surrounds. We are sure it will soon become a key part of the local community. We would also like to convey our thanks to LNT Group for all the help and assistance in the acquisition of Rosewood Court and look forward to working with them for years to come.”
Councillor Liz Jones, was pictured by the tree which will be planted in the grounds of the home to appease the tree-dwelling spirits displaced in the buildings construction. After donning their PPE, the guests were treated to a tour of the partially completed home. Councillor Jones said; “It was great to take a tour around Rosewood Court today and being a part of the topping out ceremony. The home is really starting to take shape and from what I have seen, I am sure the home will be a great addition to the local community. Only Care are very committed to ensuring this is a top quality nursing and residential care facility and I am very much looking forward to seeing it completed.”
The luxurious home from home facility which is located next to the Holiday Inn Hotel on London Road, will provide residential, nursing and dementia care with 100% en-suite accommodation, landscaped sensory gardens and its own cinema room and café for residents and their visitors to enjoy. The home is due to open in March 2016 and will hold a public open day where local residents can view the facilities and reserve rooms.
