Manorcourt Homecare, the homecare services division of residential care provider Healthcare Homes group, has today announced it has reached a new milestone of providing in excess of 25,000 weekly hours of individualised care to people in their own homes across East Anglia. The homecare division specialises in delivering a range of care packages to people who wish to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
During October, the team recorded the 25,000-hour tally for the first time, reflecting the growing demand for personalised, flexible “at home” care and support. Additionally, the increase in hours can be attributed to three new contracts from Suffolk Social Services, which increased the geographical reach of Manorcourt’s services to Stanton, Mildenhall and Brandon, in addition to the opening of two new branch locations to support people living around Broxbourne and Loughton.
Janice King, Operations Director of Manorcourt Homecare explains: “The combination of new contracts from Suffolk Social Services, the launch of two new branches, plus a general movement towards people wishing to receive in-home care services, has led to this new milestone. We have seen the number of weekly hours grow by at least 2,000 in the last couple of months to top 25,000 hours, illustrating just how strong the demands are for quality home-based care.”
Whether assistance is required on a regular or temporary basis, Manorcourt Homecare provides a flexible range of services that make it possible to provide as little or as much support as is needed, for as long as required. The Manorcourt Homecare services division, which employs over 1,000 staff in Bedfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Hertfordshire, specialises in delivering care services provided via the local authority, in addition to private-pay tailored care services. This includes live-in care for short or long-term periods.
