Care England, a representative body for independent social care providers, has appointed Saskia Goldman as Policy Officer.
Professor Martin Green OBE, Chief Executive of Care England says:
“We are delighted to welcome Saskia to the Care England team. She brings a great deal of knowledge about the implementation of the Care Act and also preventing loneliness and isolation in old age”.
Further to a Masters in International Politics, Saskia worked on a social inclusion project for women in South London. She went on to work as Friends of the Elderly’s Policy Officer and is a graduate of Skill’s for Care’s Graduate Development Programme. In her role at Care England she will be focusing on a range of policy issues including working with primary care, innovation, healthcare vanguards, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty.
