Nurse Plus was established in 2005 by a group of experienced healthcare and recruitment experts. Since then the company has grown rapidly, with over 40 branches now providing homecare and nursing agency services across the UK.
Joining the Mayor at the launch were Councillor Glyn Jones, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Equalities and Councillor Pat Knight, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing. As well as officially opening the new branch, the Councillors took time to meet members of the team and hear about the intensive training that all Nurse Plus staff go through, as well as the career development opportunities open to all employees.
Branch Manager Tess Smith explained more:
‘We are really thrilled to have launched this branch in Doncaster and it was lovely to have so many people along to help us celebrate.
We are looking forward to serving the people and businesses of Doncaster with the high standards of care and support we pride ourselves on across Nurse Plus.’
The branch is now recruiting for Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Nurses, with a variety of work available in care homes, learning disability services and supported living environments.
This week’s launch comes on the back of more good news for the company, having recently been shortlisted as a finalist in both the ‘Homecare Provider’ and the ‘Personalisation’ categories at the forthcoming LaingBuisson Awards.
