Veronica brings a huge amount of experience to the role having worked within the specialist care sector for more than 15 years in a wide range of positions that include referrals manager, commissioning manager and relationships manager. She has also run her own successful specialist consultancy and provided her expertise to the NHS’s child and adolescent mental health service.
Based at Glen Care’s Langford Centre, Veronica’s new role as business development manager will see her liaise with NHS consultants and commissioners across the South and South West of England in order to deliver the most appropriate and effective treatment that best suits the referred service user’s individual requirements.
Speaking on her new appointment, Veronica Moss said: “I am absolutely delighted to join Glen Care at such an important and exciting time for the health and social care sector, as it moves more towards the community-based, individually tailored treatments that Glen Care has been championing for a number of years.”
Veronica’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Glen Care as it expands, reconfigures its services and invests in infrastructure in order to continue to remain at the forefront of the ever-changing requirements of the modern health and social care sector.
As part of this reconfiguration and investment, Glen Care recently set up a specialist women’s challenging behaviour and complex needs service, and has invested £100,000 in a new communications system that will allow the company to communicate with commissioners, staff, families and service users across a number of platforms.
Bradley Phillips, commercial director at Glen Care, said: “We are delighted to welcome Veronica to the Glen Care family. The experience she has amassed in such a wide variety of roles across health and social care made her the ideal candidate for the business development position and we’re excited to have her on board.
“Glen Care’s appointment of someone with the experience and expertise of Veronica demonstrates Glen Care’s ongoing commitment to be at the forefront of modern, pioneering bespoke treatments for our service users.”
