DC Care has completed the sale of Clifton Court Care Home, near Doncaster in South Yorkshire. The home, which was an asset of Mirus Care Limited (In Liquidation), was originally registered for 33 elderly clients and closed late last year. Upon instruction from Begbies Traynor LLP, DC Care carried out an extensive marketing campaign, to attract purchasers looking to continue to use the property for care provision.
The home has sold to Community Places Ltd who is a specialist care provider. They are carrying out substantial alterations to the building, so that they can develop and deliver a bespoke service, working closely with commissioners.
A spokesperson for Community Places commented: “We put service users at the very heart of what we do and we are so pleased DC Care was able to let us know about this opportunity. Alison was so helpful, efficient, always able to provide guidance and was a pleasure to work with. She knew the answer to every question I had and worked to ensure the sale completed as swiftly as possible so that we could get in and start our work.”
Peter Herberts, for Begbies Traynor commented: “We are happy that Clifton Court is continuing its life as a care home and that it will be an integral part of the local community.”
