A purpose built nursing home that provides a full range of elderly care options including residential, nursing and dementia care based in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Anglesey has been forced to make 18 employees redundant as part of a review following a winding up order on May 29th 2015.
Sarah O’Toole, Ryan Grant and Anne O’Keefe, of leading global business-advisory firm AlixPartners Services UK LLP (AlixPartners), were appointed Joint Administrators over Sant Tysilio Nursing Home Limited (the Company) on 04 August 2015.
The Joint Administrators were appointed to ensure the business of the Company was protected and are working closely with Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), the health board and local authorities to ensure that care levels are maintained and residents’ interests protected.
On appointment the Joint Administrators engaged a specialist in operational care support, to assist the current management team in overseeing the day-to-day residential care.
Commenting on the appointment, Ryan Grant of AlixPartners said:
“It is with regret that due to the current occupancy levels we were left with no alternative to today’s decision. Our focus now is on securing a buyer for this high quality home and we welcome expressions of interest. In the meantime, we will continue to ensure that all residents experience high standards of care.”
