A well-known Aberdeen facility offering care for the elderly has been bought by family-run business Rubislaw Care LLP.
The 64-bed Rubislaw Park Care Home is a purpose-built, multi-million pound facility which won Care Home Design Award in the 2010 Scottish Care National Awards. Under its new ownership, the facility will now be the focus of an extensive refurbishment project which will include the creation of a spa and salon, library, café/bar, cinema and luxury communal living areas for residents.
In addition, the revitalised home will offer long-term nursing care as well as the residential care which was previously available, and care for residents with dementia.
Lying in a quiet and peaceful location in the heart of the city’s West End, Rubislaw Park Care Home is set in large gardens which are designed to be secure and accessible.
Commenting on the acquisition, Rubislaw Park Care Home director Manpreet Johal said: “Our family-run business places a strong emphasis on providing high standards of care in luxurious living spaces and we look forward to sharing this ethos with current and future residents and their families.”
Fellow director Paul Beaumont added: “This significant addition to our portfolio in Aberdeen is a large step forward in our vision for the future of luxury care provision in the city.”
