The home, which provides intensive rehabilitation for male and female clients, age 16-18 and 18-65 with severe and enduring mental health problems, has been extended from a ten to a seventeen bedroom facility by the owners Aspire Mental Healthcare Limited, thanks to funding support from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
The expansion of the healthcare facility will provide much needed additional accommodation for adults suffering from mental health issues in the area.
Dr Ivan Bakaltchev, Owner of Aspire Mental Healthcare Ltd said: “It has taken a lot of hard work and investment but I am thrilled to say that our expanded facility is open and we are welcoming new residents and are able to further expand the range of our services.
“We have seen the need for our services increase in recent years but by extending the building and increasing the number of rooms we have available to care for residents, we hope be able to satisfy this demand.
“I’d like to thank RBS for their support with this project. We switched to the bank after our accountant Michelle Mackenzie–Cooper from Smith Cooper Accountants in Derby recommended their specialist healthcare proposition and we have been delighted with the service we have received.
“The Relationship Manager’s understanding of the sector is excellent which has been a real advantage, and the service we have received has been first class. RBS has been really supportive of our plans and the funding exactly what we needed.”
Paul Curzon, Senior Relationship Manager at RBS explains: “I am delighted that we have been able to support this new development. The new facility is excellent and complements perfectly the superb levels of care provided by the staff.
“I’d like to wish Dr Ivan Bakaltchev and his team all the best with the facility and look forward to continuing to develop a successful relationship with him in the future.”
