LEVER EDGE Care Home is celebrating after being awarded a “Good” rating by regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The home, in Great Lever, Bolton, was given the second highest overall rating after carrying out an action plan of enhancements since the previous inspection.
Lever Edge Care Home, operated by Hill Care Group, will next aim to attain the highest rating of “Outstanding”, says home manager Beverley Taylor.
She said: “We are absolutely delighted the CQC has recognised the hard work of the staff in making Lever Edge Care Home a safe, comfortable and caring environment for our residents.
“We always strive to deliver the highest level of care, providing peace of mind for relatives and friends, alongside an engaging and enjoyable environment for our residents.
“We will be aiming to achieve the highest rating of “Outstanding” at our next inspection.”
The latest report, based on an inspection on August 4, rated Lever Edge Care Home’s services highly for safety, effectiveness, care and responsiveness.
Leadership was the only category listed as “Requires Improvement”, due to the manager not being registered with the CQC at the time of the inspection.
The manager has since undergone the registration process with the regulator.
