Residents of Edward Moore House Residential Care Home in Gravesend enjoyed a cracking Easter weekend, filled with egg-citing spring themed activities.
Residents of the Trinity Road residential care home indulged in some springtime fun over the long weekend, getting stuck into an egg hunt, as well as a celebratory party.
The fun began with staff hiding plenty of tasty chocolate eggs around the garden, inviting the residents to grab a basket and find themselves some Easter treats.
Showing off their personalised Easter bonnets, which they had previously made during a craft morning, the residents also attended an Easter party on Sunday. The dining room was decked out with seasonal decorations and staff put on a delicious buffet, as the partygoers spent the afternoon playing games and dancing.
Christine Hutchinson, General Manager of Edward Moore House said: “The residents had great fun over the Easter weekend and although it was a shame to not be able to invite family and friends in for the party, the staff ensured it was a real celebration for everyone.”
