‘Inflation-busting’ pay rise confirmed for Adept Care Homes staff

The Old Vicarage, a care home in Clay Cross confirmed its team will receive an ‘inflation-busting’ pay increase, with the lowest-paid getting a further 5.5% from April 1st, nearly 4 times the rate of inflation.

Hundreds of Adepts team members will see their wages boosted by nearly £1000 a year from tomorrow, April 1st  as the family-run, care home group announces the planned pay rises.

Dave Lock, MD for Adept Care Homes said: “The dedication and commitment our carers deliver every day when caring for our residents underpins our success. We believe in investing in our staff.”

“This pay rise will make such a difference to my family’s life – that bit extra every month means we can do so much more,” said Donna – Care Assistant at The Old Vicarage.

“I feel like we are really looked after here, we are cared about. It really is a superb place to work” concluded Michelle, a staff member at The Old Vicarage.
