Outlook Care is delighted to welcome Joy Hilario as Foxburrow Grange’s new home manager on Wednesday 5 June.

Joy’s appointment follows the departure of Becky Pinnock, who has relocated to Cornwall.

Anne Cooper, Outlook Care’s Director of Operations and Business Development said: ‘We are delighted to have recruited Joy to lead Foxburrow Grange. We need ongoing strong leadership to successfully continue and expand our position as a specialist dementia and nursing home. Joy has a proven track record of managing care homes. She has extensive knowledge of nursing and is a strong communicator who is customer focused with deep leadership capabilities.”

Joy said, “I am really looking forward to joining Outlook Care as the values of the company are the same as mine. Everyone is very welcoming – from the CEO to the care home staff. I really feel that I am going to thrive in the company and I also feel that it will also get the best out of me.”

Speaking on behalf of Outlook Care’s Executive Leadership Team, Anne Cooper said, “We would like to take this opportunity to appreciate Becky’s outstanding efforts and her service to Foxburrow Grange since her appointment in February 2017. The Leadership Team believes that Joy will bring similar attributes to successfully deliver on the care home’s ethos.”

Joy has held various nursing roles in the Philippines before coming to Essex in 2003 and working for the Colchester University Trust for 12 years. Since 2015, Joy has been registered home manager at a 59 bedded care home in Halstead.

Joy describes herself as a hard working person who is eager to lead and inspire a team to achieve good outcomes. She has excellent working relationships with multidisciplinary teams and the local authority. She also describes herself as a very sociable person who connects well with the local public and also organises events for the Filipino British community.
