Suzanne Scholz and Justine Hornby have been appointed by New Care as Home Manager and Deputy Manager respectively at The Hamptons Care Centre in Lytham St Annes.

Local ladies, Suzanne and Justine are familiar with Lytham St Annes, having both lived, been to school and worked in the area.

The duo has worked together in the past and are a strong nursing team, bringing an enormous amount of knowledge and expertise to the state-of-the-art care facility, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care services.

Together, Suzanne and Justine will be responsible for the 76 bed care home, its residents and 100-strong team.

Suzanne’s career started in banking and retail in Lytham St Anne’s. She also worked as a care assistant where she developed a passion for dementia care, which prompted her to embark on a degree in mental health nursing, qualifying with a first class honours degree.

With many years of manager experience at Bupa Care Services and Hc-One, Suzanne is perfectly placed to lead the team at The Hamptons and ensure each and every resident receives exceptional care.

She says: “Being local I was aware of The Hamptons and knew that it was the best care facility on the Fylde Coast, so I was thrilled to join as Home Manager. I want to carry on the good work, further improving the excellent standards of care we provide. By motivating my team, I will ensure they continue to go the extra mile for our residents, so that they can enjoy their retired life at The Hamptons.”

Justine, a qualified general nurse for over 30 years, was attracted to The Hamptons’ friendly and family-orientated environment.

She adds: “It is great to be working with Suzanne. She focuses on the resident’s mental health and I monitor their physical health, so we complement each other.

“The Hamptons has a thriving, vibrant community based on the very best quality of care provided. I hope to build on resident and family relations as well as support Suzanne as she leads the talented team already well established, who all have a common goal; to do their very best for the benefit of all residents.

“Quality is attached to all areas at The Hamptons, from the staff and the care residents receive to cleanliness, food and décor, it is a superb care facility, one I am proud to now be an integral part of.”

CEO at New Care, Chris McGoff, added: “We are pleased to welcome Suzanne and Justine to New Care. We were impressed by their career achievements, both separately and as a duo, having previously work together.

“We are confident they will exceed at The Hamptons, leading the team, ensuring the highest standards and creating a warm, welcoming and safe environment for all those in their care.”
