Following Care2Connect’s recent acquisition of Brooker Care, the company has been awarded a place on the West Sussex County Council’s ‘Care and Support At Home’ framework in the north of the county.

Care2Connect used a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK to purchase Brooker Care, based in East Grinstead, in June this year. Care2Connect has been a core provider for the south of the region since 2015, and with Brooker Care based in the north of the county, the company can now extend its provision across West Sussex.

Care2Connect’s 60 strong team provides care to over 200 people across West Sussex, offering a host of services from assisting with daily washing and hygiene, managing medication and preparing meals to providing companionship and helping clients to get out and about.

Peter Grimshaw, Managing Director of Care2Connect, said: “This recent tender success demonstrates that West Sussex County Council regards our company as a premier provider of homecare services. Our acquisition of Brooker Care, with HSBC’s support, is enabling us to improve the homecare service for the West Sussex community. We’re delighted to have established a stronger presence in the region.”

Andrew Steer, HSBC’s Area Director for Business Banking in Surrey & Sussex, said: “Care2Connect’s acquisition of Brooker Care will enable the team to provide its much-needed homecare service to even more people in the region. We look forward to continuing to support the company’s endeavours in the county.”
