This is the view across the pond to Care UK’s Cedrus House care home in Stowmarket.
The waterfalls of poppies off the balconies and in the garden were knitted by residents, colleagues and local people in memory of all armed forces servicemen and women.
In addition, clay and plastic plate poppies on display in the garden have made by residents and members of the day club and people have the opportunity to put the names of loved ones they would like to remember against each handmade poppy .
The patio doors from the coffee shop have been decorated with silhouettes of animals and birds to represent the animals lost in the wars.
On Sunday at 11 am confetti poppy petals will be scattered from the balconies and a service of remembrance will be held in the home on Sunday afternoon for residents and local people to attend.
