A care centre has received a highly coveted industry rating.
Located on Main Drive in Lytham St Annes, The Hamptons has received an outstanding for care rating in its first Care Quality Commission (CQC) report.
The independent regulator of health and social care in England, the CQC monitors, inspects and regulates care services, publishing its findings to ensure the general public can make informed choices about the care that they choose for themselves or a loved one.
Inspectors gave The Hamptons an overall rating of good, with outstanding for care, for its compassionate, friendly and high-quality care. The inspection revealed that residents and their relatives felt that staff went above and beyond in the delivery of their care, with one relative commenting that The Hamptons was ‘a lovely home run by lovely people’ and another that staff respect for residents was ‘absolutely fantastic.’
The report went on to say that the team approach demonstrated by everyone working at The Hamptons successfully achieved enhanced quality of life for people and helped them to flourish through and excellent person-centred culture, citing multiple examples of how staff attitude and care delivery had a highly positive impact on the lives of those living at the home.
Home manager at The Hamptons, Lorraine Disley, commented: “We are delighted with our outstanding for care rating from the CQC, a testament to the passion and continued commitment of the team to only provide the highest standards of care for every individual at The Hamptons.”
