On the 16th of March, Country Court Care were delighted to welcome local dignitaries, healthcare professionals and business people to the Grand Opening of their Heartlands Care Home, Yardley, Birmingham.

The Right Worshipful, The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Anne Underwood, along with Mr Alykhan Kachra, Managing Director of Country Court Care cut the ribbon whilst guests toasted the opening with a glass of champagne. A buffet lunch, containing sample dishes of Heartlands new menu, was followed by the opportunity for guests to talk to the care team and explore the luxury facilities.

Heartlands aims to showcase how style and elegance can be incorporated in to the development of a Care Home, whilst incorporating state of the art design and functionality. All this comes with the objective of retaining a reasonable price, which is affordable to the local community.

The opening of Heartlands Care Home comes after an extensive 18-month new build programme. The £5m development is the last of five, 66-bed homes to be built with LNT Construction as part of a £40m scheme funded by Cheyne Capital. The partnership with LNT has also included the opening of new homes in Huntingdon, Northwich, Milton Keynes & Welwyn Garden City.

Heartlands Care Home also had a Public Open Day on Sunday 18th of March 2018, which saw over 200 local people come in and see the home, despite the snowstorm throughout the night!

Situated on Broadstone Road in Yardley, the new Heartlands is spread over three floors and boasts 66 en-suite bedrooms, a hair & nail salon, a tea room, a relaxation spa, a pub (called the Blakesley Arms), an indoor village square & shop, cinema room, family room and numerous lounges/communal areas.
