Care Management Group (CMG) is celebrating, after it was named winner of a prestigious Skills For Care Accolade award – recognising its commitment to providing high-quality support to its Home Managers.
CMG, the leading provider of residential care and supported living services for people with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, was crowned winner of the award for ‘Best Employer Support For Registered Managers’.
The award follows the continued success of the organisation, which has now achieved a record number of 9 ‘Outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), becoming the only major learning disability provider to have achieved as many top ratings.
It also comes after the promotion of three CMG Home Managers for services in Croydon, Sutton and South Northwood to the role of Regional Director. In their new capacity, Pam Hirsch, Lorraine Hewlett and Harissing Luchmineea will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of care are being maintained regionally. This bears out CMG’s strong commitment to providing staff with the opportunity to learn and develop their professional skills, so that they have the capacity to grow and take on new opportunities.
The winners were announced at the Skills for Care Accolades awards ceremony on Thursday 1st March in London. The ceremony was a unique opportunity to celebrate excellence in workforce development for the 1.45 million people working in adult social care in England.
Peter Kinsey, Chief Executive of Care Management Group, said:
