Making Space has appointed a new director of development, following the promotion of previous incumbent Rachel Peacock to chief executive.
Gemma Shepherd has joined from Barnardo’s, where she was assistant director of development, leading on their growth strategy for children and young people’s mental health cervices.
Prior to that, she spent a decade in development roles with both Community Integrated Care and Creative Support.
Reporting to the charity’s chief executive Rachel Peacock, Gemma will be responsible for identifying areas for business development across a diversified range of income streams as well as new product design.
Making Space is a national health and social care charity, with its headquarters in Warrington. It employs almost a thousand people over 170 services.
