Eden Futures opens its doors to new supported living scheme in Ollerton, with a successful information open day.
Beamish Court Apartments, located in Darwin Drive, welcomed stakeholders and members of the public to find out more about the crucial services that will be offered at the recently opened scheme.
In partnership with Trinity Housing Association and BCP Supported Housing Ltd, the 12 self-contained apartments will provide 24-hour care and support to individuals in the community with learning disabilities, supporting independent living.
The property features lift access to all floors, assisted technology, wet rooms and an all year-round enclosed garden area.
David Whittock, group head of service development, commented: “The partnership with Minster Developments Ltd, Specialist Support Living Ltd, BCP Supported Housing Ltd and Trinity Housing Association has enabled us to provide a much needed service for individuals in the area. This property is one of our best examples yet.
“We look forward to welcoming residents and their families to Beamish Court.”
Eric Hardman, governance and compliance manager added: “Trinity Housing Association is extremely pleased to be an integral partner in the development of Beamish Court to meet the identified needs of the local community in the Nottingham area. It is Trinity’s first development in Nottinghamshire and we have plans to provide more high quality homes for supported living in the area. We are very pleased with the quality of this development and look forward to meeting our new tenants in the very near future.”
Nottinghamshire is a key area for Eden Futures as this is where the organisation’s first supported living scheme was developed 20 years ago. As a result of becoming part of a community based framework in 2017, Eden Futures will be collaborating on more schemes in the coming months.
