Residents and staff at a care home in Ramsbottom are celebrating the success of their recent vintage-themed summer fete.
Lavender Hills Care Home held its annual summer fete for their residents raising £180 through a raffle, cake stalls, and a performance from singing duo Vintage Pearls.
Friends and family of the residents attended the 1940’s themed event on Sunday (September 3).
Charlotte Oliver, Activities Coordinator at Lavender Hills Care Home, said: “Our summer fete was a great success and this was one of our best yet with families and people from the local community also joining us.
“The fete is another way for us to raise funds to help residents go on lots of outings and take part in a huge variety of activities. Raising £180 for our residents’ fund is a fantastic amount, one which will make a difference.
“I’d like to thank Clark Crafts, Drinc Coffee and Ramsbottom sweet shop who donated to our raffle and everyone who came along to enjoy the day.
“I would also like to say a special thank you to Jamie, Julie and the residents for making so many delicious cakes for the day and all the staff for getting dressed up and joining in with the fun.”
