Lilian Faithfull Homes welcome Stroud nursing home to charity group


Lilian Faithfull are pleased to welcome Resthaven Nursing Home near Stroud into their Charity.

Resthaven has been delivering exceptional care for 80 years.  Combined with Lilian Faithfull Homes, they have together offered 150 years of care in the County.

Chief Executive Martin Hughes comments “we are delighted to welcome Resthaven’s residents, families and staff under our wing.  As a Charity they can take comfort that we are run on sound principles offering a Home for Life. This is part of our strategic plan to deliver our exceptional care further in the County”

Chair of Trustees of Resthaven Michael Little says: “I am particularly pleased that the Trustees have been able to give Resthaven to another “not-for-profit” care provider and thereby secured its future in perpetuity which is great news for the community.”

Lilian Faithfull Homes has been delivering care for over 70 years, caring for 300 residents with 450 staff and is one of the largest Charities and providers of care in the County.

The Charity set out its intentions to drive up care standards in a recent interview in Gloucestershire Business magazine and now runs six homes and a Day Centre in the County.
