Nationally, Home Instead now has 17 outstanding ratings – more than any other homecare provider, which places them in the top two per cent of homecare providers inspected by the CQC in England.

Home Instead’s Telford office was set up seven years ago by Jenny and Jason Warren. The couple employs 80 staff, providing dignified, person-centred care to just over 100 clients.

In summing up the caring nature of the business, the inspectors wrote, ‘People received care and support that was delivered in a kind and compassionate way. Caregivers supported people over and above what was required of them because they genuinely cared about the people they supported.’

Commenting on the report, Jason and Jenny said, “It is Home Instead’s stated mission to change the face of ageing and that’s what we are doing here in Shropshire.

“Our quality care assures the safety and wellbeing of our clients and brings peace of mind to their families.

“Care is delivered by our dedicated team of CAREGivers who are matched to their clients based on shared interests and truly enjoy spending quality time with them.

“We are delighted by the wonderful comments received during the inspection from our clients, CAREGivers and local health professionals and are thrilled that our approach has been recognised by the CQC.”

One client told the inspectors, “They are all very good to me. They are lovely. They keep me independent, I would recommend them.” Another said, “They are brilliant. They provide everything that I need and more.”

Commenting on the 17th CQC Outstanding rating, managing director of Home Instead, Martin Jones said, “We are absolutely delighted to receive this latest Outstanding rating.

“The care and compassion with which our service is delivered shines through in this inspection report. Our unique model of delivering care, which is companionship led, is clearly making a difference to people’s lives.

“We want to deliver care which improves older people’s quality of life and allows them to remain in their own homes, leading an independent life, for as long as possible. Well done to Jason and Jenny, their office team and, of course, their dedicated CAREGivers for making this a reality.”
