The vacancies are being advertised as part of the first wave of recruitment ahead of the charity’s information day at Paisley Town Hall on Saturday 3 June.
Royal Blind has posted 47 vacancies including a Deputy Manager as well as nurses, care assistants, chefs, housekeeping staff and administrative staff.

“This is Royal Blind’s first service in the West of Scotland and we are seeking talented, hardworking individuals for these roles with the knowledge and expertise to make the difference to the lives of visually impaired older people.
“These are exciting opportunities for the right people to join Scotland’s largest vision impairment organisation and join a brand new services in Paisley.”
Jenny’s Well is being built alongside a Scottish War Blinded activity hub for visually impaired veterans on the site of a former garden centre in Hawkhead Road. Both services are expected to open in October.
Vacancies at the Hawkhead Centre will be advertised from July.
The two charities will hold an information day on Saturday 11am – 6pm. Local residents are being invited to drop in to find out about job opportunities, volunteering and what the new services will offer.
The new services replicate the charity’s services in the East of Scotland. Jenny’s Well will be the second care specialist care home in Scotland for visually impaired older people, with Royal Blind’s Braeside House in Edinburgh being the first.
Royal Blind recently gained the Investors in People award and all salaries start at the Living Wage.
