The Somerset Care Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrea Bacon as the new Operations Manager for their Realise service. Realise is a specialist support service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Andrea has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector, having started as a Care Assistant supporting people living with dementia when she was still in school. Andrea has developed her career over the years, starting as a support worker and progressing through to senior management positions. Her most recent role was with SeeAbility, managing learning disabilities services across the South West.
Speaking on her appointment, Andrea said: “I am pleased to be working with the Realise team. I’m looking forward to working with the Somerset Care Group to develop the Realise service; exciting times ahead.”
Andrea took up her new post on 10th April 2017.
