Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL) is to expand its services in Stockton-on-Tees following a successful re-tendering process.
The national care and support provider has seen its contract renewed with Stockton Borough Council, delivering 18 units of supported accommodation for homeless families, adults and young people.
It will also be working with a further 20 homeless clients, by taking on support provision from other providers.
Clients at all the services will receive, or continue to receive, SSL’s personalised support that will be tailored to their individual needs in order to help prepare them for more long-term move-on accommodation.
The agreement will see SSL deliver support at these services for the next three years, with the possibility of further extensions at a later date.
SSL area service manager Marc Brodie said: “We’re delighted to be able to expand our provision of services in the Stockton area.
“Through this service, we will continue to work with clients to help them develop the skills they need to live independently, and look forward to working with the borough council to support even more people from the area.”
