Somerset Care is pleased to announce that Grovelands received the Outstanding Care Team award at the Somerset Care Awards 2017.
The team nomination came from Grovelands Manager, Ross Isbell and was supported with statements from a family member and Barbara, a resident at the Yeovil care home, who said: “I join in with all the activities and they find out what I enjoy. I go to the Gateway Church with support of a carer; I love this as my faith is important to me.
I feel very well looked after. They are all very cheerful and make me feel loved. I like to keep busy and have the opportunity to try new things. I feel this is now my home and I am very happy here.”
Speaking on the awards, Ross Isbell, Manager, said: “We’re delighted to have won the Outstanding Care Team award. The team at Grovelands consists of truly special individuals, who day after day, demonstrate their devotion to the residents. I am so proud to be a part of Grovelands and to work with such amazing people who commit to delivering the highest standard of person-centred care to our residents.”
