Care home group continue to expand with two new care homes

Lakeview Lodge

Country Court Care Group recently announced a further expansion, with the building of two new care homes. Construction of the sites are now well under way, with estimated practical completions dates being penned in for the summer period. These two purpose built care homes form part of a deal funded by Cheyne Capital Management, which saw Country Court Care securing £40 million for the acquisition and development of 8 new assets.

The first of these is 66 bed Residential Care Home, named Lakeview Lodge in Bletchley near Milton Keynes. This is the third in a four Care Home construction project between Country Court Care & LNT Construction, with LNT already finishing Ferrars Hall in Huntingdon in June 2016, and Lostock Lodge Care Home in January 2017. The final build is Oakview Lodge in Welwyn Garden City, which aims to be completed in October 2017.

With a Public Open Day already planned for Sunday 3rd of September from 11am, Lakeview Lodge is nestled the edge of the Newton Leys, overlooking the beautiful Little Willow Lake in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire. Lakeview Lodge will be spread over three floors, and will boast 66 en-suite bedrooms (with 5 being built for couples), a hair salon, a café/bistro, a relaxation spa, a shop, a cinema room, a family room and numerous lounges/communal areas.

The second of these is a 30 bed site called Tallington Lodge Care Home, in Tallington, Lincolnshire. This new Care Home will sit adjacent to our current Tallington Rest Home, which Country Court Care acquired in 2008, and already boasts a phenomenal reputation in the local community. This Care Home will also boast 30 en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon, a café/bistro, a piano lounge, a library and numerous communal lounges. The Care Home is hosting a Public Open Day on Sunday 18th of August, from 11am.

Family owned business Country Court Care have been established since 1983 and has its headquarters in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Their belief is that all older people deserve the best quality of life and this sits at the heart of their family ethos.
